Dentures can sometimes break from being accidentally dropped or from stressed created in the acrylic due to poor fit.
Denture teeth can also pop off. This occurs because your denture sits in your mouth differently over time because your mouth is continually
changing. Because of the way the mouth changes your lower teeth end up hitting more heavily behind the upper front teeth causing them to pop off.
Denture patients should be seen once a year to have their bite checked to help prevent this risk.
Dr Barry Kaplan has a laboratory on site where he can repair broken dentures while you wait and usually in 24 hours or less.
